# Code of conduct

SideQuest is a guild first. Treat people here the way you would want to be treated in a raid
group: with patience and respect. This applies in every SideQuest repo, in issues and pull
requests, and anywhere you speak for the guild. The [guild rules](https://sidequest-guild.com/rules/)
cover the Discord and the game.

## What we expect

- Be kind, and assume good intent.
- Give feedback on the work, not the person.
- Help newcomers find their way.
- Accept a decision once it is made, even if you argued against it.

## What we don't accept

- Harassment, insults, or slurs of any kind.
- Unwanted attention, sexual language or images.
- Posting anyone's private details.
- Trolling, threats, or bad faith arguments.
- Cheating, gold selling, or account trading, here or in game.

## Report a problem

Tell a Quest Master or Quest Guide in the guild Discord by direct message. We keep reports
private. If the problem involves an officer, message a different one.

## What happens next

Officers look into every report. Depending on what happened, they may give a warning, lock a
thread, or ban someone from the repos, the Discord, or the guild.
