Confirm members#

A new member signs in, links Battle.net, then waits for a Quest Master to confirm them in game. Confirming opens the rest of the guild’s Discord.

Confirm someone on the roster#

Confirm from whichever place is handy:

  1. On the website: go to the Officers page, find the member, and confirm them.

  2. In game: open the addon’s Console, select the Roster tab, and confirm them there.

Confirming gives them the New Arrival Discord role and opens the guild channels.

Approve a sign-in in Discord#

The first time anyone signs in, the bot posts a notice in an officers-only channel with their name, username, avatar and BattleTag (if linked).

  1. Open the notice in the sign-ins channel.

  2. Select Approve.

This does the same thing as confirming them on the website or in the addon; whichever you use first updates the notice.

Recruiting#

Applicants and trials show up on the Officers page’s Recruiting tab, and on the addon Console’s Recruits tab in game.

  1. Open the applicant’s entry.

  2. Vote yes, no, or wait.

  3. Add a note if you have context other officers should see.

Recruit notes and votes are officer-only; applicants never see them. Officers also set which roles and classes the guild is recruiting under the Recruiting tab, so the homepage and the welcome message show what’s needed.
