Code of conduct

SideQuest is a guild first. Treat people here the way you would want to be treated in a raid group: with patience and respect. This applies in every SideQuest repo, in issues and pull requests, and anywhere you speak for the guild. The guild rules cover the Discord and the game.

What we expect

• Be kind, and assume good intent.

• Give feedback on the work, not the person.

• Help newcomers find their way.

• Accept a decision once it is made, even if you argued against it.

What we don’t accept

• Harassment, insults, or slurs of any kind.

• Unwanted attention, sexual language or images.

• Posting anyone’s private details.

• Trolling, threats, or bad faith arguments.

• Cheating, gold selling, or account trading, here or in game.

Report a problem

Tell a Quest Master or Quest Guide in the guild Discord by direct message. We keep reports private. If the problem involves an officer, message a different one.

What happens next

Officers look into every report. Depending on what happened, they may give a warning, lock a thread, or ban someone from the repos, the Discord, or the guild.
